Description Size Extended Information   Perfect gift for the girl in your life. Beautiful tinysubtle purple Venetian heart. This little heart bead is  purple glass over white gold foil which gives this bead an amethyst color. It's so cute . The pendant is wire wrapped with sterling wire and hangs from a sterling silver figaro chain. Each necklace is handmade in my studio overlooking the Redwoods of the Santa Cruz mountains. The sterling chain is 16" (I also have 18" available).   Features The small heart bead is handmade in Italy using techniques dating back to the 13th century. The bead is made by melting glass cane over an open torch flame and then adding white gold foil to decorate the bead. It is then shaped and annealed in a kiln where the temperature is gradually reduced to add strength and durability to the glass. Comes in a gold gift bag with a description of Venetian glass jewelry making.
